Contact Lenses

Contact lenses come in a wide variety of materials and parameters to suit each unique wearer’s needs. Our doctors will identify your specific comfort, vision and healthy fit requirements for clear and comfortable vision.

Soft Contact Lenses

Although tiny, these important medical devices are packed with technology designed to maximize oxygen and nutrient exchange and maintain healthy ocular tissue throughout the duration of wear. We tailor each contact lens exam, with options ranging from monthly to daily disposable lenses to suit our patients’ varying comfort and lifestyle needs. Patients with the following refractive conditions may benefit from soft contact lenses:

  • Myopia (Nearsightedness)
  • Hyperopia (Farsightedness)
  • Astigmatism (Irregular corneal or lens curvature)

Presbyopia: Presbyopia is an age-related condition in which the crystalline lens of the eye hardens and impedes a person’s ability to focus on close objects. For individuals with reading difficulties secondary to presbyopia, multifocal contact lenses can correct vision and provide some freedom from spectacle wear.

Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) and Scleral Lenses

For individuals with keratoconus, irregular astigmatism or severe dry eye disease, these lenses can provide a much higher quality of vision and comfort than standard soft contact lenses. Our doctors are trained and experienced in fitting these patients with specialty lenses and utilize advanced equipment and fitting sets to ensure a proper fit.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

Multifocal contact lenses are an excellent option for many patients who have presbyopia and who would like freedom from their reading glasses or bifocal/multifocal glasses. In most conditions, these lenses can provide the ability to see both distance and near objects without additional eyewear.
